SPITZ TAGS OUT IN NODAK

Spitzley made the trip to North Dakota to kick off the season with Mike, Brennen and Jim.  Coming into the trip, he was planning on being behind the camera most of the time.  After Jim tagged out opening night, and Brennen not getting the winds he needed to hunt the spot he wanted to hunt, Scott was up to bat.  His first couple sits were uneventful.  On day 3, he headed into an untouched spot frequented by a few good bucks.  Some does and fawns were on their feet early, with plenty of time left before dark.  About 20 minutes before dark, the guys spotted 4 bucks headed their way.  Once in bow range it got a little chaotic when one of the bigger bucks walked off a younger buck, pushing him downwind of our setup.  The little buck caught our wind, alerting the others to danger.  Spitzley knew it was now or never.  He acted quickly and made a good shot!  This is the first "early season" North Dakota buck for Spitzley and a hell of a way to start his 2026 season!
