VELVET FOR JIMBO

After a rough year involving surgeries and being unable to shoot his bow, Jim was excited for the opportunity to hunt this season!  Summer practice left him feeling confident that he was ready to hit the woods.  On opening evening of the North Dakota season, Jim was in the hot seat with Brennen over his shoulder running the camera.  The guys were sitting in a spot with very promising intel.  A velvet 10 had been frequenting the feed site regularly, and they just needed him to show up one more time.  The evening started strong with does and fawns moving early. As light was fading, the velvet 10 appeared.    Jim picked a spot and let the arrow fly.  The buck was hit hard and only made it 40 yards before going down in the standing bean field.  Jimbo was ecstatic to get his hands on the beautiful velvet buck.  What a start to the season!
