After a rough early season trip to North Dakota, Dan was looking forward to going back after Christmas to close out the season.  With holiday break, his entire family made the trip this year!  With his boy Hunter up to bat, they headed into a spot they call "The Hills".  It is usually one of their best spots, but just hadn't been producing yet this year.  With very few bucks on camera to chase, they were hoping something would surprise them.  With zero pics of this particular buck, it was a pleasant surprise when he came walking over the hill.  Hunter made a great shot on him and he only made it 100 yards before tipping over.
