SHOTGUN 2

After both interns filled their archery tags in Iowa, they were excited to get back after it during the shotgun season.  Jayden was up to bat first during Shotgun 1.  The boys hunted hard but a shot never presented itself.  Quinten stepped up to the plate when Shotgun 2 started, and he was hoping to knock down his second buck of the fall on public land.  On the 4th day of the season, he headed into the same piece where he harvested his archery buck a little over a month earlier.  Just as light was cracking, this buck was making his way through the timber.  Quinten settled the gun and squeezed one off, dropping the buck in his tracks.  His pre-season scouting paid off this fall with 2 nice bucks on public land.
