BONUS BUCK

Aaron Skrzypczak - Iowa - November 2nd, 2023

JP and myself waited until the tail end of October to start our Iowa deer season this year.  With several good bucks on camera, the plan was to jump around on a few different farms until we ran into one of them.  JP was up to bat first.  A big cold front hit on October 30th and the adventure began.  On the morning of November 2nd, we decided to sit on a field edge with the decoy out in front of us in hopes of intercepting a good buck coming off of the crop fields.  At 9am, right when we were getting ready to climb down, this buck worked his way down the edge of the timber and put on a show as he approached the decoy.  The cool thing about this buck was that he was a bonus buck on the farm, no history with him at all!
